Peace Foundation is a registered in civil society Act 1860 from Provincial Assistant registrar Joint Stock Companies Hyderabad Region Sindh.Peace Foundation is working in social development sector since 2010. We work on mother and child health care and non formal education with national and international partners. In these days we are working on Menstrual health education with OXFAB GB Pakistan and an other project on womens health with Global Challenge Canada Fund.Peace Foundation received five projects from Safe Abortion Action Fund (SAAF),UK, AmplifyChange UK, Mundoo Cooperante Spain, and International Networks for the Reduction of abortion Discrimination and stigma (INROADS).

  • Population Welfare department Government of Sindh provided us trainings on family planning reproductive health. We have developed good internal controls for smooth and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Peace Foundation developed networking with International and National Networks. Our team visited Malaisia and Indonesia where we presented activities of Peace Foundation.
  • Peace Foundation preferred to adopt right base approaches for social justice for the neglected segments of society including women, girls, youth and rural communities.

Through promoting social activism in rural areas among youth, rural communities, women and girls for taking collective actions for social development , harmony and integration and improving their access to productive resources and opportunities, making them socially and economical empowered so that they can exercise their rights to combat poverty and injustices.

  • 1. Advance Human Rights Education: Empower religious minorities through social mobilization and community engagement to enhance accountability and transparency in public institutions.
    2. Provide Humanitarian Support: Deliver emergency relief and assistance to rural communities affected by crises, conflicts, and natural disasters.
    3. Enhance Access to Healthcare: Establish online consulting services, medical camps, and e-clinics to provide essential healthcare, particularly for women and girls.
    4. Combat Gender-Based Violence: Work towards the elimination of physical, sexual, and psychological violence against women by addressing its root causes, including feudal practices and legal ambiguities, while ensuring support for survivors.
    5. Empower Women Economically: Improve the socio-economic status of women, particularly widows and orphans, by promoting income-generating activities, enabling them to achieve financial independence and social equality.
    6. Address Climate Change and Coastal Resilience: Implement sustainable solutions to mitigate climate change impacts, with a focus on protecting coastal communities from rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation.
    7. Enhance Youth Employability: Provide skill development programs, vocational training, and entrepreneurship opportunities to equip young people with the tools needed for sustainable employment and economic empowerment.
    8. Strengthen Disaster Preparedness and Risk Reduction (DRR): Develop community-based disaster preparedness plans, conduct training on emergency response, and implement strategies to reduce vulnerability to natural hazards such as floods, droughts, and cyclones.
    9. Protect Biodiversity and Endangered Species: Promote conservation initiatives to safeguard ecosystems, protect endangered species, and restore natural habitats, ensuring the sustainability of biodiversity for future generations.
